2024 will mark 37 years since MGGW was established, a revamp of the original Games & Sports Days of the past.  The then committee, wanted to create something for the whole community, so everyone could experience what they had themselves as youngsters.  The event has grown over the years and MGGW has included historical walks, bowls, roller discos, raft races, quiz nights, live music, darts, regatta, clay pigeon shooting, wild water swimming, 10k runs and triathlons, bike rides, duck races, flower festivals, concerts, table tennis competitions, dog agility, distillery and mine tours, fishing competitions, yoga, Highland Hustle, treasure hunts, dining extravaganzas, shinty, football, race nights and that's just to name a few!  Perhaps you would like to host one of these events or have something new to add to the timetable?
